Stuffed Brobee Yarn

I'd like to make a stuffed Brobee as a gift for someone. Can you recommend a novelty yarn I should use?

Here's a nice closeup of the star himself.

I can't think of anything that really has that texture, but I guess you could go with a fun fur type as a close second.

I've seen that show. That is some weird & freaky television. lol

Go to Hobby Lobby. They have all sorts of novelty yarn.

Ha...that was weird. Kid's shows get weirder and weirder. I would say fun fur would be the closest...some of the types hang down more and stick straight out less, which would be good, it seems his fur lays flat. They make a fur yarn too but not sure if it comes in those colors! ;p Like someone else said I'd go to the hobby stores, or check out yarnmarket.com, they seem to carry a lot of novelty yarn.
